Caloocan as a toponym comes from the Tagalog root word lo-okkalook-lookan (or kaloob-looban) means "innermost area". The city's name is colloquially spelled as Kalookan.

It officially the City of Caloocan, is a 1st class highly urbanized city in Metropolitan Manila, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 1,583,978 people making it the fourth-most populous city in the Philippines.

This is the elementary school I graduated. I joined almost every extracurricular activity of the school, on-the-spot painting, chorale group, boy scouting, rondalla and science club. I was a member of the school version of the popular singing group called Hagibis that became popular in the inter-school activities.
